Owner of Veterinary Specialists of Sydney, Dr Andrew Levien is a board certified specialist in small animal surgery. His career has taken him to the UK, USA, and back to his home country of Australia.
Versed in all complex orthopaedic, neurosurgical, soft tissue, and interventional radiologic procedures, Dr Andrew has a keen interest in cruciate repair, fracture repair, and joint replacement, and a true appreciation for knees and elbows!
Dr Karon Hoffmann

Dr Karon is the founder of Imaging Vets, created to provide personalised specialist imaging support for veterinarians. She amazes us often with the detail she can find in an image!
Gaining an appreciation for diagnostic imaging early in her career, Dr Karon has excelled in her profession. A rounded approach to advanced diagnostic imaging paves the way to help diagnose and treat many complex clinical cases.
Dr Karina Graham

FANZCVS (Small animal Medicine)
Dr Karina, is a registered specialist in small animal internal medicine.
After working in specialty practice for eight years as a veterinary nurse, a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) was achieved through Sydney University in 2006. Dr Graham completed an internship in surgery and medicine the following year and proceeded directly into a residency training program required for specialist qualification in Small Animal Medicine through North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre and Veterinary Specialist Centre. Additional externship training was undertaken at the University of California, Davis in cardiology and neurology in 2010. Membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists was achieved later that year and she obtained Fellowship to the College in 2013 permitting her to become a registered specialist in Small Animal Medicine.
Dr Graham enjoys all aspects of complex medicine and has a particular interest in interventional radiologic procedures of the urinary and respiratory tracts. Outside work her life is devoted to her family, the snow and the beach.
Dr Damon Leeder

Registered Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology
Dr Damon is a Registered Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology. Damon obtained his vet degree at the University of Sydney. Following a small animal internal medicine internship in Sydney, he moved to the U.S. and completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota (UMN). Damon then went on to complete a three-year residency in veterinary cardiology at UMN. At the completion of his residency, Damon successfully obtained board-certification in the specialty of veterinary cardiology.
Damon now consults directly with primary veterinarians to provide advanced cardiac diagnostics and the highest-quality veterinary cardiac care available.
Dr Chris Greenwell
BVSc (Hons) MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)
Dr Chris first started using ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis of more complicated medical cases over 15 years ago, & has been honing his skills ever since. He completed a residency in small animal medicine at Sydney’s SASH vet hospital, where he was one of the primary ultrasonographers during the 8 years he worked there.
Since mid 2021 he has worked solely as a small animal ultrasonographer for the Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) hospital, providing a mobile ultrasound service to the veterinary hospitals of Sydney
